As Kensune made her way to where they were, she saw the two of them and smiled even bigger. "To be honest, I didn't sleep very much at all." With that she blushed a little, still not being able to composer herself. She didn't care though, everyone else in the tribe knew. Private spot or not, word spreads quick in this tribe. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the older women of the tribe picking on Kai, when he came down from his perch. Making eye contact with her two friends, she gently clapped her hands together. Almost like she had something important to tell them, which in the end really wasn't. "Once you guys get around, and we get you anything you need. I say we head out!?" She had a new felt order to her, and she wasn't meaning to seem bossy. She just wanted to start on their path, and before Koga got back. According to Kai, that would be any day now. She would introduce them a different time, but not one her first got back and was sure to be cranky. "So what do you guys say!". She looked happily at them, glad that they were still here in the morning.
Then, she seen Kai dart toward one of the guards in the front. They stood talking for a moment, then he looked at the other guards that had grouped around him. He looked, well like his normal self. But there was a caution in his eyes, like he had seen something. If there was something new or unusual around the territory, they would caution to stay quiet till they dared attack or had observed. She wondered what it was, and before she could say anything. Kai was at her side. "I know you wished to leave this morning, but I have seen a very odd priestess walking around, not far past the old tree." he took a breath. If he was that worried, then she might change her mind. But she wanted to see for herself, this priestess couldn't be all bad right?
"Is she traveling down the old dirt path?" if she was that would lead her here in no time, and that's what Kai was afraid of she was sure. She had lost her smile, knowing this could be a serious matter. She look to Raven and Merissa, and halfheartedly smiled. "Well, what do you guys wanna do? We could still leave, just out the back over there a ways." she pointed toward the two tunnel openings, though she would like to scope out the new comer outside. "Kai and the tribe will be okay" she added, just before Kai spoke. "The priestess wouldn't dare come too close to this cave. Not it she knew what was good for her." Kai seemed excited yet worried. What did this priestess look like to get him and the guards so upset!? Kensune waited for her friends to speak their mind.

"We're good to go if you are." Raven told Kensune. "We're pretty much used to getting up early and heading out with the sunrise." He chuckled. "No need to worry. You guys have already done more than most have ever done for us." Again he was reminded of Viviana's little village. Vivi, as Merissa called her, had welcomed her into her home for almost half a year before Raven had come back. The two had made a strong bond of friendship together and through that Raven began to accept the idea that they could accept other's in their lives, perhaps even live among humans one day.
Kai seemed less cautious around them but he was still on guard. Apparently a priestess was nearby. The woman seemed no threat to them at the moment but there was no telling when anyone came close to the wolf tribe. Kai was worried for his people, especially Kensune and had advised her to use caution.
"We should leave through the front anyways." Merissa suggested. "Priestesses can be dangerous yes, just as dangerous as any human but we should go check it out. It's the least we can do for all the help you gave us letting us stay here."
"Besides" Raven added. "There's just one of them. The three of us can handle her together. I wonder what it is about her that makes her so odd though. Could it be she is a corrupted priestess who follows a different sort of path?"

"If you two prefer, I am really not that worried about her myself. We three could easily deal with her, if she is of any threat." Kensune had a feeling of worry, she didn't usually go straight into a situation that could lead into a fight. But it was time for her to change her ways, and she was ready. She returned to where she had left her sack, that held her most prized possessions. Returning, she smiled and handed some dried pieces of meat to her companions. Knowing they would be wanting something to eat, and what the tribe had would be good enough to tide them off. She looked toward the guards at the opening of the cave, and smiled at them looking so serious. Kai watched as his mate retrieved her bag, and come back sharing her food with the new comers. He moved to her, and placed his hand on her shoulder. She turned, and took his hand in her's. Kai quickly leaned down and kissed Kensune. Right in front of everyone, and a look of shock crossed her face. The kiss was quick but deep. It was him saying for her to be careful, and to remember him. He pulled away, and took his leave. Kensune blinked her confusion away, and with blushing cheeks motioned toward the entrance of the cave. She remained silent, not sure what to say after that moment of slight embarrassment.

Suei came to a stop underneath a particularly shady tree, looking up at some of the wild fruit, this land was so lush, even with the heavy presence of demons, who were often seen as bad omens or evil creatures. She was being watched, she had a general direction where she could sense the demonic energy, but the beings seemed to keep their distance, not wanting to rush into trouble with her. Her icy blue eyes, which seemed so empty, almost like a dolls, glanced up towards the sloping hill that became, what she assumed a complex set of ridges, and small mountains that were shielded from view from the naked eye. A perfect nesting ground for so called evil creatures. The way Suei saw the world though, was not good and evil but simply a battle for life, and survival. She sighed before pulling a piece of fruit from the tree and sitting down in the soothing shade. Her cheeks had grown pink from sunburn, her once new sandals were worn and she had obvious repaired them herself many times. The young woman had been travel for a long time. Her legs folded and sticking out to her right, she patted her lap, calling her small black fox familiar from behind the tree. Suei watched as it made it's way into her lap, it's streamline figure was like a desert fox, with the large ears and small body, but it was solid black instead of that sandy color. Giving a faint, empty smile, Suei put her fruit away and closed her eyes as she began to sing a song that came to her, the only time any emotion seemed to come out, so foreign, like it wasn't her own. "My voice will dance along the spring wind, dance and fade away as another tune is carried. Sing with me, sing with me, and show me a reason to this world." She began softly, this song carried a sense of loss, of being lost, it was beautiful and yet so sad. Suei wasn't sure why she sang, she didn't feel these things, not that she could tell, she just felt so numb. "Can you me with your song? Can you show me why I'm this way? Can you help me understand? With your own melody that too, is so sad." her voice trailed off into a soft hum as she closed her eyes and relaxed, pulling her long braid out from behind her and over her shoulder, removing the silk ribbon at the end, her fingers gently combing out the long braid and just letting her snow white hair hang around her as she listened to the sounds of the forest and river.

After thanking Kensune and the wolves again for their hospitality. Merissa smiled as she watched Kai come up to Kensune at the entrance to the cave and give her a goodbye kiss. She laughed and turned to Raven. "Do you think we'll always be like that?" she asked him playfully.
Raven knelt down and kissed her deeply on the lips. "If we're not feel free to kick my ass." She giggled. "Don't I already do that?" Raven rolled his eyes and gave her a playful push. "Don't act smart" he reprimanded.
Merissa turned to Kensune. "You and Kai have something really special Kensune. He might act stubborn now but eventually he'll be able to admit it." She hooked an arm around Raven's neck and pointed a finger at him accusingly. "After all this one and me had all sorts of issues in the beginning but I eventually won him over in the end."
"We should go." Raven mumbled sharing Kensune's embarrassment. "If that priestess is indeed evil I don't want to give her the chance to gain any sort of advantage over us." He began to walk in front of them outside the cave. After a few steps he stopped and tilted his head towards the dirt path, and the river that run along it.
"What is that?" he turned to the others. "I'm not sure but I think I hear singing." He had a puzzled expression on his face."Why would a priestess be singing. Is she trying to entrap us somehow?"

(I don't know where I went, but I'm back! Sorry you guys!) Kensune smiled at Merissa's words, the embarrassment still showing on her face. She was ready, well almost. This meeting the situation head on kinda thing wasn't like her, but she knew it was time to face the day. She slung her pack over her shoulder, and began following her two friends out of the cave. Then she heard the singing, yes Raven was right. She closed her eyes to the sound, and then opened them to see if she could figure out if it came from the old tree. It sounded like it was, and this meant it had to be coming from the priestess. An evil being wouldn't sing such melody would they? They had to check it out now, it was a mission. "I hear it too, but it doesn't sound like an entrapment. The tone to the melody is one of someone who is lonely, and sad." Kensune, even though she wasn't sure she wanted to venture in the direction of the said priestess. Decided, with her two friends, she would be safe. She, even with the little time she had known them, had come to trust them quickly. She started walking, ahead a step of Raven, and made her way to the old tree. Where she believed the priestess would be located, and hope she wouldn't be walking into a trap. How exciting her life had become as of late, and she couldn't wait for more!

Suei could sense something approaching, demons, obviously investigating the stranger on their turf. She felt no malicious intent, only weariness which is understandable. Seeing as she was a priestess traveling through demon territory. She did not move from her spot though, her body was tired and she needed rest, instead she continued to gently pet the small black fox in her lap with a soft hand. This was her only companion, except for the occassional appearance of a man in the reflection of the waters on her travels, he would speak little, only a few hints of advice before vanishing. Always at night, and when the moon was reflected in the water's surface.
Her eyes opened slowly as the breaze faded, those icey blue eyes stared offinto the distance, as she began to figure out the next village that she was heading to. She was never really good at remebering names, and never really cared to, it wasn't like she'd see the place ever again. So often times all she oculd remeber was the route, where she had been, and where she had yet to explore. This region of Japan was definitely a new region, and she hoped she could find something to help her, she didn't want to feel so empty, like some sort of doll. Sighing softly, Suei lifted her head and stared up to the sky, her moment of peace would soon be shattered, so she had better enjoy it while it lasted.

Raven had to agree with Sune. The song seemed forlorn and sad. The kind of song a lost little girl would sing, not a dangerous siren hoping to lure them and dash them along the side of the mountain. He put his arm around Merissa's and began to follow Kensune down the path. It wasn't long until the came to the river. He could see the priestess now, just up ahead a ways by a tall, rather old looking tree. She didn't look like she was from this area. Her clothing may have been that of a typical priestess but her face was different from those who lived among the mountains and surrounding forest. It was softer, more gentle yet at the same time fierce. She had long white hair, and cold blue eyes.
The second thing Raven noticed was that she was holding something in her lap, an animal of some sorts that she seemed to be petting while she sang her sad little song. She had stopped so suddenly and for a moment Raven stopped, thinking they had been discovered but the priestess only looked upwards towards the blue sky in silence. He quickly exchanged a look between Kensune and Merissa wondering if they should go forward and call out to her or try and make their way past without saying anything.
"I don't think she is dangerous." He whispered to Kensune. "She looks more lonely and sad than evil."

Kensune nodded, he stood firm where she stood. Taking a moment to take a deep breath, then walk toward the priestess. She had to know they were there, so no reason to hide. Or maybe she hadn't seen them yet, either way, they had come this was to see her. Kensune wasn't going to evade this girl, she wanted to meet her. Something about her, it caught Kensune's interest. Making her way to where the priestess sat, leaving a nice amount of distance between them. She looked at Raven and Merissa, then back at the priestess, and the creature she had been petting.
"What is that your singing?" This question was the best ice breaker she could think of, Kensune was a bit nervous at speaking it. She swallowed hard, and she was sure her friends had heard it. She twitched her tail, waiting for the priestess to answer her. Hoping they hadn't just walked into a trap, or the end of the road. She doubt any harm would come of confronting this girl, but the word was a dangerous place.

The little black kit looked up at the girl with the twitching fox tail, sensing the nervousness it let out a light squeak. Suei's empty eyes were now focused on the girl before her, her gentle features, Icy blue orbs met the aqua colored ones. The friendly girl seemed much younger that herself, but the priestess imagined that there was a possibility that it was not so. She gave a small empty smile, she was very much like a living doll in all her mannerisims, the only thing that held any emotion was her song, but now that it stopped, it was like there was nothing there. "Honestly I couldn't tell you, They come to me from no where, I don't really feel things so it's almost like someone else." She was obviously not like most humans, even among the strange ones she owuld stand out, and apart from them simply because of how she was. "It's pleasant to see that you finally decided to come to me, though your friends still seem a bit apprehensive still." She continued as her gaze shifted to the area that the Kitsune demon had come from, easily sensing the others that were hiding from view. "You can come out... I wont attack unless I feel threatened." She ignored the fact that she was outnumbered, the odds didn't seem to phase her if she had to fight.
Slowly Suei rose to her feet, the little black fox sat beside her as his bright green eyes looked up at the demon girl, tilting his head to one side before making a happy, and friednly yip. Suei gave a small hollow laugh at her fox familiar before speaking once again. "He seems to like you, this little fella is my familiar... He.. keeps me company." She said softly and began to put her really long snow white hair back into a braid.

Kensune's left eyebrow lifted in the response to the priestess's words. What did she mean she didn't feel things, what was she? Her looks were very different from that of a human. And that fox kit, it didn't seem to be bothered by her. Who ever this priestess was, she was defiantly not their enemy. Kensune was brought back to the present from her thoughts. The priestess had addressed Raven and Merissa, Sune not even realizing she knew they were with her. This girl was interesting yes, and maybe she would also be another whom she could call friend. But that was not thinking clearly, she didn't know the girl yet. She shouldn't be so quick to jump at the chance of having another companion, it wasn't the sensible thing to do.
Then she noticed the kit yip at her, and smiled as she bent down to it. Putting her hand out, yipping back at it. Hoping it would come and greet her closer so she could feel it's soft fur. Other then her tail, Kensune didn't have any. Which she wished she did, fox fur was to die for. It wasn't very often she got to meet one of the animals that so shared a closeness to. And a black one at that, this kit was adorable. "May I ask your name? Mine is Kensune." She said this looking at the priestess, so as to not offend her while trying to coax the kit to her hand.

Kensune smiled at the kit, she yipped again. It was so cute, she would start getting silly if it would decide to tease her. She wasn't afraid to get on the ground, and channel her inner instincts. She would be oblivious to everyone at that point, but it would just go to show them. She was part fox demon, and wasn't all shy, and seriousness. She blinked her eyes, feeling the ground under her hands, she had knelt down by now. If the priestess had answered her, she didn't hear it. Nor had she heard Raven and Merissa if they had joined the conversation. She was focused on the kit, and it's black fur. (Either Nakro, or Remus can answer next....!!!)

Merissa realized they had been staring at Suei for several minutes while Kensune had already introduced herself. She quickly stepped forward. "I'm sorry for my rudeness. Where I'm from, it's always best to be wary of strangers. In the past it was hard to find anyone trustworthy even amongst your own." She bowed her head slightly. "I'm Merissa." She gestured towards Raven who was leaning against a tree behind her. "That's my older brother Raven. He may look mean, but he's actually much nicer than he appears to be."
Raven didn't say anything but unfolded his wings and stared at Merissa in silence. Merissa meanwhile, knelt down in front of Suei and slowly reached a hand out towards the Kitsune. "He really is a little darling!"

"It is fine, People, whether they be demon, human, or in between are something to always be weary of." Suei looked down at her friendly kit like Fox who took in the attention eagerly. "He is small when There is no danger present towards myself or those around me. He is a conjuration of sorts, a physical manifestation of my spiritual power." Stretching a bit and nodding at Raven to say a silent hello. "Honestly I am not use to company, or such friendly encounters. Demons of all sorts usually attack me on sight as if I truly pose them a danger. I only seek out true corruption and evil."
Raja, the little kitsune made a little happy yip, typical of a living fox, his mistress's powers made him real, as real as any of these creatures before them. He ran up Merissa's arm and nuzzled his head against her cheek, before running around behind her head and over to her other shoulder. He took a leap and landed on Kensune's shoulder and let out a soft murr as he nuzzled her in greeting. taking another leap, he landed smoothly and without a sound before making his way over to Raven, Stopping just feet away, he sat down and stared up at the winged man with interest. All of his movements were light and feather like, showing how much he wasn't just any ordinary fox.

Sune smiled as the little kit hopped from her shoulder to where Raven stood. She was wondering how she could feel so at ease all because of the small kit in all of his grace. She allowed Merissa's words to echo in her head, and then look at Raven for a moment. She then looked at Merissa herself, and smiled. She was starting to really like her. Raven himself as starting to grow on her, even in the little time that they had known each other. She hoped maybe this stranger would add to their band of misfits too, even though they knew nothing about her yet. She just felt safe, and didn't make Sune uneasy anymore.
"I can understand what you mean, I don't think any of us really are used to true company. Better yet, friendly encounters." With the start of her statement, she had moved her eyes back to Suei.
