"I'm..." Korben started then stopped to cough. "I'm okay," he said taking deep breaths. "What exactly happened down there? Why did that shark attack you?" Jake asked. "I don't know, I cut my finger down there and the shark must have sensed the blood and attacked the source," Korben said. "My tank partly saved me, it ended up in it's mouth," Korben finished. "Your tank?" Jake said and inspected it. "Well, you're pretty damn lucky your respirator hose wasn't cut,"

"He's luckier that the shark didn't get him," Keera replied, out of place. She couldn't help but say it, as it was the truth. She turned to the dolphin as it came around the other side to her, and she smiled at it. She ran her hand over it's head and it thanked her by making a clicking noise with it's mouth. "Go home," she whispered. "I'll call when I'm ready to leave. I may be here a while now." Within seconds, the dolphin was on it's way out in to the vast ocean. Keera watched it until it went under the water, then turned back to the two men.

"How did you kill that thing anyway?" Jake asked in an amazed tone. "I told you, I didn't kill it, something else did," Korben said. "Like what? Look at the size of that thing!" Jake said. "What else could've been able to fight it?" he continued. Korben was finally finished coughing and straighted up. "I don't know, I only caught a glimpse of it. It looked human, at least it's silhouette did, and there was a break in the sand cloud and I saw it looking back at me," Korben described it. "It's eyes.... they looked like mercury or mirrors I guess,"

"I don't think I'm even familiar with something like that," Keera commented. "I side with Korben though, he most definitely did not kill that shark." She stood and turned to look at the creature. "Have any of you eaten shark meat?" she asked suddenly, glancing back at them with a smirk. Walking around Korben and Jake, she began walking off the dock. "It's quite delicious," she added looking back at them but not stopping. "Come on, you should probably get back and dry off. Seems like you've got a never ending work load."

"Yeah.....yeah, I guess I do," Korben said shakily, still trying to collect himself after his brush with death. Jake held Korbens shoulder. "You know what, you should go home and get some rest, I'll cover you at your dad's shop, alright?" Jake offered. "I mean c'mon you were almost fish food a few minuets ago," he added. "Yeah, I think I will, thanks, Jake," Korben left and caught up with Keera. "I haven't seen you around here before, are you a new resident or a tourist or something?" Korben was trying to take his mind off what happened.

"A... tourist?" Keera asked. She shook her head. "I guess that's what I am. I'm just looking around, thinking of staying here for a little while though." She kept walking, and glanced at him. She was tall for the age she looked, and by any standards of someone knowing what to look for, they'd say she probably packed a lot of power too, even though she was thin and still managed to be elegant about her movements. "Oh, that man in the expensive vehicle, who was he?"

"Oh, him?" Korben asked and realized how she meant. "That was Dawson Graves, he runs the docks and pretty much everything here," Korben explained. "His family founded Graves' Point a few hundred years ago, which is why he has the same last neam as the town," Korben finished. Two police patrol cars went by towards the docks. Korben sighed "I guess Jake called the cops after my ordeal,"

"Well, he's not exactly ruler material. I guess he inherited the town?" she asked, watching the cars go by. She glanced back as they stopped at the dock and went to look at the shark laying there. She smiled and turned back the way she was walking. "So you're going home to rest, I assume."

"Yeah, he inherited it. With the way he runs the docks though, I'm surprised anyone fishes or charters anymore," Korben said and got on his motorcycle once he reached it. He put his helmet on and started it up. "Yeah, I'm going home to settle down from today's excitement," he said. "Where you going? If it's close, I'll give you a ride if you want," he offered.

"Um, sure," she said and looked around. She wasn't quite sure where she was staying. She hadn't exactly thought about it. It's not like she slept anymore anyway. "Is there a restaurant near your place? I could go there." Yeah, and eat what? She didn't do that much either.

"Yes, actually there is. The 'Sunset and Camden'," Korben said. "It's not too far out of my way so it's no problem at all," he added and produced a spare helmet.

"Interesting contraption," Keera mumbled and looked at the helmet a moment before taking it from him. She placed it on her head and hesitated before getting on the back of it. "Sunset and Camden, sounds nice." she added as an after thought.

"You alright?" Korben asked as he revved the engine slighly. "you act as if you've never seen a motorcycle or a helmet for it before," he added and and the motorcycle started forward. "You'll like the 'Sunset and Camden'. It's locally owned. Ol' Pete and wife Stella have been running it since 1967," he said, making a cornere smoothly.

"I'm not used to motorcycles, and I've never worn a helmet," Keera replied with a smile. First time for everything. "Since 1967? Really? That's a long while to have managed to keep something like that going. You can go faster," she added, barely holding on to him.

"Alright," Korben said and opened the throttle a bit more. "The resturant's not that big, and they never saw the need to expand," Korben explained. "There's even talk that their daughter might take over once Pete and Stella retire," Korben continued and slowed to a stop infornt of a homely-looking, one-story shack with a mid-sized parking lot next to it. "And here we are, 'Sunset and Camden'," Korben said.
