We've done both before. A lot of the ones you see here are your run of the mill, create as you go type. The basic idea is floated in the new rp board and then from there is created in it's designated area, but we have also done a few where we planned out things quite extensively as far as where we want to go plot wise. You get a healthy mix of both. Some of our greatest rps have actually lasted for a few years. Granted there were a lot of hiatuses here and there but they are still alive.
