Maybe I'm late to discover this show or something because it seems like posts aren't very common around here. Yeah, so what I just found out about this anime like a week ago, lol. Anyways, if there are any people who are still active around here, shoot me a notice. I'll usually be around to RP. Unless I'm not. And then, well, you're out of luck.
To talk about my character, though, she's a half-demon like Inuyasha. Except the difference is that her father was a human and her mother was a demon. Her father had strange powers, though. As he was a priest in the mortal world, he knew countless techniques in "magic". These incantations were used mostly for healing and protection, but he knew a few that were mighty powerful. One day, a ravenous demon came to take control of her father's village, and, when there was no other choice, he used an incantation known only to priests of that village. It took the demon out and protected his village. Her mother saw this act, and instantly fell in love with him. When Kurama was born, though, her father realized just what he had done. He realized how much pain Kurama would feel in the world of mortals and demons as a halfblood, and in an attempt to protect her from misery tried to kill her. Unluckily, his wife and Kurama's mother went into a rage at his act. In a sudden burst of anger, she killed her lover and all this happened in front of Kurama's very own eyes. After that, Kurama's mother couldn't forgive herself, and sent Kurama away on the river. No one knows what happened to her mother, other than she disappeared. But Kurama thinks she must've killed herself.
Because of her past, Kurama is a very anti-social person. Usually, she spends most of her time wandering aimlessly in the village that she washed ashore on as a child. The villagers there treat her kindly enough, but she has no friends. No one says mean things about her or anything of that sort, it's just that she'd always been an oddball. Most of the younger children can sense the demon part of her, causing them to be afraid, but everyone else slightly accepts her. She is part kitsune, as her mother was a fox demon.
Her physical appearance seems no more than that of a regular human. Blonde, long hair and gray blue eyes. Like my pic. She likes the colors gray, black, red, and orange.
Her last remaining memory of her family was of her mother. She, when disguised as a human, which she always was, had tawny colored hair. Her hair was long, and almost always tied back in a ponytail. Kurama's last memory of her family was of her hair. That color will never leave her mind.
