Servitude and those bound to serve, a fickle thing. It's a common knowledge those whom serve do so up to a point. Especially wolves. They served their strongest Alpha, only up to the moment he shows his Archeles heel, his kryptonite. Then it's game over and the tide falls for a new leader. What a bloody joke these wolves were, no ounce of true loyalty. Then again it's within their nature to seek the greatest strength that'll lead them to survival. In the end that's what mattered. Perhaps it was behind their reasoning in their will to serve him.
Even so, with such in mind, Senketsu found himself nestled in the heart of the Forest Noch. His home, his land, his curse.
"Senketsu-sama we have a gift for you," Alfrin gripped the rope that bound his catch's wrists. He yanked her forwards while his beta secured her left arm to stop her from falling. Dark bruises marred what could be flawless, pale skin.
A gift, really? Presented in such a distasteful manner? These men truly are barbarians. Senketsu however showed not an ounce of his thought, instead he remained seated, observing.
"She's a good little Omega, doesn't flinch when you raise a hand to strike her." The pride in Alfrin's tone made Senketsu nearly stand, reach across, rip his head off.
No, do not break your vow. Do not disrupt this delicate balance. We can't have that again.
Alfrin's soulless eyes glinted with greed and malice. His thin, cracked lips peeled back into a grin too wide, then he shoved her. She landed on her knees without so much as a gasp.
Bjorn, quick to assess the situation approached, he took a hold of her and lead her to Senketsu's private quarters ( Rookie mistake, to which Senketsu would overlook) and ordered she remain there.
"I have delivered the Omega, Angel, to your quarters My Lord." Bjorn said, he spoke with a rush, misplaced excitement.
Senketsu dismissed him, he yanked the damp towel from around his shoulders and with care draped it over the bench he's seated on. Couldn't even take a break from sparring before idiots like Alfrin show up in his foolish attempt at persuasion.
"You must be extremely desperate, presenting this so called gift to me in such dire straights. That or you're up to your neck in debt, if it's that you only need ask." Senketsu said, his voice underlain with a sigh, "If it's a war, you require soldiers, again you need only state so in our pack meetings. Nonetheless I'll accept her, but only to rid her of your barbaric negligence you wretched dog. Now, allow me to show you my gratitude."
Standing, he approached. In a single move he reached across and plunged his hand through the werewolf's rib cage. He eviscerated him on the spot. Pumping organ in hand, Senketsu stared at it briefly, "You do have a heart, shocker." He brought it to his lips and licked at the blood, the taste made his nose crinkle.
"Bitter, like you." He crushed the organ, it burned under the intensity of his fury turning to ashes.
The remaining werewolves, Alfrin's men bowed deeply.
It was Senketsu's prerogative to ignore those he held no reverence. Yet in this case they fell subordinate to him now.
"Kaius, give these barbarians the lesson their Alpha failed. If they pass my regiment they may join me. If not, you know what to do." Senketsu said.
The man in black and earthen hues bowed, "Yes, my Lord."
Satisfied Senketsu continued onward within the old estate to his room.
Her scent, like the forest, touched by sweet night flirted with his senses. A light, airy fragrance as a spring breeze. Her auras.
"Alpha." She said and bowed her head.
Senketsu remained where he stood, this wasn't acceptable. No part of this would he ever condone. The fury crashed in his chest, violent and ferocious it made his body shiver a strange, chill he quelled. This wasn't the time, no longer the place. She invaded his room, her presence, her feet, her eyes, touched everything.
It couldn't be helped.
Senketsu took a breath, then another. Chased the urge to destroy away, quelled the fire raging hot through his veins. The fire that despite his centuries top side, remained. He couldn't hide it for long, the part of him that made him great in their eyes, the darker parts that'd terrify and crumple the world they'd built around him. Times such as these, or even, the smallest thing could set him off.
No. No more.
Another deep breath, the scent of her, reminded him of the solitude, the decadent night, all that time when he had merely been a shadow that existed. A twisted soul, awakening. Like snow, numbed and untouched. Minus the purity. None of that.
"I'm not your Alpha. I'm not your friend or your foe." He said, then without thought he approached and came short of arm's reach. His gaze zeroed on the ropes, they were bound too tight. A swipe of sharp edge of his claw, the binds came undone. They fell at their feet, silent, frayed.
He stepped from her, the room spun, he averted his gaze to the painting on the wall. A forest, pitch in deep emerald and in the crater of pine and bare branches a figure bathed in ivory and moonlight.
Not much but a fragment imagery, the shred of memory eternal, captured on a giant canvas. He'd once thought with foolish naivete that if he peered at it everyday, he could remember. At the very least, her name, or if she were real and not a figment of lost dreams.
At last it was the stillness of such a piece, that managed to reign him in. And he found his voice, and he exhaled.
"Call me Senketsu. I don't respond well otherwise." It was the only one he'd grown used to, any other title fell on deaf ears. Then he lowered his gaze from the master piece to her, she looked like hell. Much like himself, he, far from presentable bit why did she bow—oh that's right. He's the Alpha.
He turned before she could see the look on his face, or the blood that stained him. He tore off the shirt and crumpled it, but in his hands it too burned to ashes and he let them fall into the waste bin. In the giant bathroom, he turned on the shower set it to cold and peeled away the rest of his garments before stepping in. The shock of icy waters helped immensely better to numb it all away then fall blind to it.
A/N: I'd some one to take up the role of the girl, her name may be swaped for another, there are also other roles available you aren't limited to just one. As for the plot it's debatable, again, let me know what ideas you'd like to share. If you'd like to join, please let me know, [Here] then we may begin. Thank you. ^^
