Kagirinai took notice of him looking her over, he had done that several times since they had been together, she never really thought of herself attractive so she never really put much thought into it. "I usually don't either, and you are free to join in." His expression sent a chill of delight down the girl's spine as she took off Her own posture had changed, less regal and more wild as she grew more enthralled with chasing down her quarry, her heart was racing, adrenaline was pumping, and she was starving. Appearing more like a demon than a wild horse at this point, she was a creature who seemed to be able to balance between the two. Part of her wondered, as she sped along the trail, hovering above with her wings open, if the more time they spent together, what would become of her? How would she change? What would she become? these were things that both made excited, and somewhat uncertain.
As she thought to herself about such things the forest gave way to a rocky outcrop, the dirt showing that the boar have ran it's way down the trail into the old tried riverbed. There was no escape for it now, no matter what it tried to do once it had originally been spotted, she would have tracked it down, there was no way she could turn down such large prey. A soft chuckle came from her as she dove over the edge, certain that Kage was not far behind.

Kage followed, only a few seconds behind. This was her's to claim, and he was ready to witness it. What would become of them, would this be the next step in a future with her in it. Things had happened so fast, but it was meant to. Jumping moments ahead as he faded, he followed as she trailed and dove over the edge. He made sure to give her space, and allow her to do what was only natural. She was so exhilarating as she moved, and he knew what he wanted. She would be the one to tame him, to speak to all of him. Him finding her was no accident, he still didn't believe in love at first sight. More over he didn't understand Love in it's self. But he knew she made him warm, when he was overly cold. He waited for her to strike, and for this dream to unfold.

(Kagirinai is gonna get a little violent with the hunt xD she's usually not like that but she's like in full hunting/devour mode lol she's sooo hungry)
She could easily use her spear to dispatch the creature, but that wasn't what she wanted, no she wanted to feel the rush of it's blood with her own hand. It was long overdue. Once she was certain she had the large male boar's attention she landed gently, first with her left foot then with the right. This was what she was, a demon, no matter what human things she did, or the fact she was often a horse, she was a demon. Another word for monster to many. Often she would just avoid conflict, being the hunted instead of the hunter, this was not one of these situation's, the tables had turned as the desire to feed and survive kicked in. She stared boldly at the large male boar before it made it's irritated groan like sound and charged at her, prepared to gore, what it thought was a stupid creature.
Kagirinai was ready as her stance shifted, ready to take on the brunt of the charge. At first it looked like the large board had connected with the petite girl until she flipped it onto it's back, a hand on each tusk, the razor sharp pieces of bones cutting into her flesh, she didn't care though, she was focused on the kill, the warmth of her own blood only fueling her movement as she swiftly lunged her left hand under the ribcage, her fingers wrapping around the rapidly beating heart. The gentle touch she had with the plants the day before was replaced with violent accuracy as she ripped out the heart, and watch coldly as the life faded quickly from the creature, it did not suffer long. Taking a small bite from the thick heart she took a gander at her catch. "Are you sure you don't want any? I highly doubt I could eat a boar this size all by myself." She offered as she licked the blood from her lips.

Kage had landed just before the boar went to charge. He had landed to the girl's left, far enough to give her space to take what was hers. But close enough to attack if things didn't go smoothly, not that he thought she couldn't take down a little thing like a boar. He didn't know injured she was still, though she seemed to have regained a good amount of strength. And she did change but a little time ago, that that meant she was doing better then imagined.
He watched as the boar went to charge, and how quickly she had made it her pray. The way she took it's heart, he gained a rather large grin at the sight. She hadn't ceased to amaze his demonic side, and his eyes surly reflected a man with lust for the woman in front of him. "Take what you desire, and I shall consume the rest." He was interested by her offer, but he was more concerned about her filling her need. He had been spoiled by the way of life he lived, and would partake after her. He in a way felt proud, watching her. Then as she licked her lips, his parted slightly. Almost like he was dreaming of kissing them, he stared at them. It was obvious the boar meant nothing to him in this moment.

Quickly finishing her consumption of the heart, Kagirinai licked her bloody hand clean while eyeing Kage curiously, his intense staring had grown since she took down the creature. Perhaps her behavior? usually he was much more reserved, but when hungry, it all just went out the window. The way those crimson eyes burned into here, there was an emotion she was unfamiliar with dancing across those vivid orbs. They were enchanting, Kagirinai would soon lose her focus if she didn't snap her attention away, slowly she truned her gaze back to the boar as she nodded. "very well." She hated wasting food, she would take some of the hide with her to use for various things. but for now she was more interested in getting to the bountiful meal that would help her recover, the scar on her upper chest was slwoly fading away, pretty soon only a small white mark would be all that remained of her battle with the monks.
Kneeling at the carcass, she pulled out her small knife and used it the cut away the fur on one of the thick legs. this and her hungry consumption of the meat went on for a while, almost liek a constant shift between animal, and sentient being as she cut and devoured, about half of the boar was gone when she couldeat no more. Most would probably have evidence on their mid seciton after devouring such a large meal, but she didn't, her body seemed to go to work immeditately putting the sustinence to work on restoring her energy and the rest of the healing. Licking the last of the fresh blood from her lips she laid back on the ground, resting her head behind her head, her brutally cold silver eyes had softened a bit, but they still held a sense of fierceness and wildness to them as she watched this other demon. It wasn't often she could just watch another demon, something about him just compelled her to want to know more. He was such an enigma to her, showing emotions she never knew or felt. His jet black hair, what did it feel like? Why did he make her feel things that she couldn't understand? Thoughts like this continued to trail as she watched him "You can have the rest, I don't think I could eat anymore." Kagirinai finally decided to speek up before turning her gaze to the clouds in the sky, letting her thoughts drift off into tranquility, surely she'd find answers the more time they spent together so thinking about it too obsessively would surely drive her crazy.

Kage had remained standing as the girl devoured the boar, just obsessing and studying her in a way. He did not care if his staring bothered her, he couldn't take his eyes off her. When she had finished and told him so. He moved to the carcass, and took off pieces at a time. Taking his time, enjoying her kill. A breeze had picked up, and Kage looked up at the sky. Returning to the meal before him, he was quiet. He continued to eat, until there was only a little left. He would not gorge himself with what remained. He slowly licked the blood from his fingers, and didn't realize it but he had a smudge on his right cheek. He grinned to himself, and his sharp teeth showed through his firm lips. It was apparent if he were to bite as an attack, his razer sharp teeth would be very dangerous. He didn't look at the girl, but had a moment to himself just entertaining himself. He was even strange to himself, he felt like a monster. His mood changes would be enough to drive himself crazy if he was human, but he enjoyed every part of it!
"Tell me, do you feel better?" it was an empty question, of course she did. But he simply wanted to hear her voice in his strange state. The soft tone, he would attempt to kiss her again. Maybe ask this time, even if she refused, he would steal one.

Her head turned slightly and began to watch him once more, his voice snapping her back to reality. Kagirinai parted her lips as she began to speak in her usual soft tone. "Yes, I have a lot more energy, and strength. The food will speed the healing along." His smile, those sharp teeth, each unique characteristic about him she studied and put into vivid memory. Her eyes picked up on the blood spot he had missed, she liked his face better with it gone. Taking a deep breath she walked up beside Kage, while looking up towards the ridge, she quickly took a finger a wiped the blood from his cheek, "That was bothering me to no end." she said casually before sicking the tip of her finger in her mouth and licking the blood away. Satisfied with her handiwork she looked up to Kage. Until now Kagirinai never realized how much taller he was than her, or rather she never gave it much thought. The top of her head stopped at his shoulders so he was most likely a foot taller than her, or so she believed. So many things she never really ever had to think of before began to become really apparent to her, trivial things that caught her eye. It was most likely the side effect of being alone for so long.

She had touched him, willingly. His body tingled at her touch, and he looked at her in surprise. It was then that he realized she was a little bit shorter then him. He leaned toward her a little bit, and raised his right hand to her face. Pausing, he placed it against her cheek. Brushing her hair behind her shoulder, he redrew his hand as it left her cheek. It was a small gesture of thanks, and it was that of him letting her know he liked her. He continued to look at her, and his smile was replaced with a look of interest. He was unsure what she would do to his small gesture, hoping she wouldn't get upset. Either way, it was done. He existed with a rule of heart, don't fight what comes natural. He would love to hold her and kiss her all day if she would let him.

His warm touch, at first she thought she'd be angered by it, but strangely it would not come even as he brushed her hair out of the way. It was surprisingly gentle and warm which made her close her eyes, memorizing the sensation even as the warmth left her. It felt odd not wanting to lash out, but this wasn't as nearly shocking as being kissed out of no where. A small smile graced her pale lips, she felt content. "were you headed anywhere in particular before coming across me? either way I'm not comfortable staying in one area for too long, a few days is more than what I usually spend." She said softly using her left hand she ran it through her straight, long, soft hair casually for a moment before hopping up to the other side of the ridge. She had no desire to run away, though she could probably do it with ease since she could fly, the open sky and field was evidence that she had no desire to flee from Kage and his monstrous nature that she glimpsed here and there.

"I was headed to a little abandoned village just west of here." he had been surprised as he witnessed her close her eyes to his touch. "Where were you headed before your meeting with the Monks?" had she just been wandering, or did she have a destination previous to their meeting. He agreed, he too didn't linger long more than a few days. He watched as she hopped to the other side of the ridge, her hair looked so pretty in the breeze that flowed slowly.
He looked up at the sky again, just letting time stand still for a moment. It always felt that way, he needed times like this. Just the quiet, his human side needed it more than anything else. He had always wondered if he would lose all that was still human in him? That would be the day, he would surly become even more crazy and go forth rampaging everything. He did have to admit one thing, his human pieces usually kept him on track. Not that he had guidelines to follow, but it was a good thing.

"I was on the trail of a demon I had been looking for. Both he and his group have to pay..." There was obviously more to it, a true reason fro her vendetta against these beings. Perhaps in time she would let him know her wound that had never healed, and why they were the cause for it. The pain of her loss began to come back, causing Kagirinai to close her eyes. She allowed the feeling of the gentle breeze to dance around her, to play with her hair. It felt like it had a mind of it's own, almost like a conscience, sensing her pain and trying to embrace her, which only made her feel even more alone, at that moment her heart felt incredibly heavy. She took smal breaths, now wasn't the time to lose control, around someone she barely knew no less, she had to fight to control her emotions, bringing them back into check. Looking down, she took a long silent look at Kage, the same breeze seemed to be playfully whipping about him, he looked so peaceful, even if the windmade his hair look a little more wild, his red eyes gave him an almost terrifying appeal, but she wasn't afraid, nothing about him really scared her. "Want... to come along?" She asked a bit cautiously, obviously not use to having somene realyl travel with her at all.

"I thought you might ask, it would be my pleasure." Now there is a word you wouldn't think he would be the one to use. But it did, it just rolled right out of his mouth. He had closed his eyes again for a moment as the breeze whirled around him, and it carried her sent with it. He smiled, and then opened his eyes once again. He took a few steps, and reached her slowly fading his way to her side. It was so natural for him to just fade, walking didn't happen often. Not since he had been brought back from the other side. He wasn't human, so he didn't care to act like one very much. Kage, once firm on the ground, took the knuckles of his fingers and ran them gently down her left cheek. He was pushing his buttons he felt, but anything to feel the warmth of her skin. He looked into her eyes. "Is something bothering you?" he sounded honest, and concerned. (I am rusty today, must be the weather here )

(oh that is alright we all have days like that)
She wasn't quite sure how to respond to him. Kagirinai wasn't use to sharing her pain, or expressing i openly but he caught on to her subtle change in emotion rather efficiently, perhaps her grip on control was slipping faster than she thought. "It's nothing.." she tried to lie but it just didn't feel right, it made her gut wrench, lying wasn't in her nature. "Nothing that can be changed, The damage is irreversible, but I will survive, as I always have." This time she edged a bit away from his touch, still having mixed feelings as she looked at the mountains off into the distance. She didn't have the strength to open fully to him, but for now there were just too unknown about this demon who made her feel so strange. "I'll explain eventually I am just not yet ready." She admitted calmly. "We need to head towards that mountain, the first one resides there from what i hear villagers say about the demon, he's one of ten I am after." The back side of the mountain her target resided on apparently was burned, the trees and plant life went up in flames years ago and never grew back. This would be a bit more of a challenge for her, still in recovery, hopefully she healed by the time the reached the summit of the mountain. Kagirinai's current foe, from what she gathered was some kind of terror fire demon, trapping their opponents often into walking nightmares that often they can escape before being burned alive. Nothing about this would be easy, but she had to do it. Looking up at Kage she gave a small smile before taking off for the mountain, even as fast as she was, it would be at least a days journey if she didn't want to be exhausted by the time they reached their destination. "This one... He's some sort of Terror and fire demon mix-breed, I'm not quite sure what to expect from him other than his ability to ensnare opponents in nightmares, often burning them alive as they try to escape. A bit more complex than lesser demons." she said, taking a leap over a large bolder and diving into another expansive, and dense forest. She weaved through the close trees despite the high speed she was going. Even from there she could smell the burned trees and foliage, apparently he had been expanding his territory.

(Will they ever reach a point of only trusting in each other, I know we are going to play it a ways down the road. But I want to know how you see the relationship. Kage is one to invade slowly if he is respectful of someone, so he isn't going to push too much at first.)
Kage had smiled back, and took off with her. Making sure to let her lead, but stay close enough to her. He smelt the aroma of the burnt trees and foliage. It was apparent some of them mixed scents in the air had happened a long time ago, but their was a taste of it in the air. Only meaning what or whom ever had done it was still expanding their area. He understood, and didn't want to rush her in telling him her story. What she did tell him was enough, and he was enjoying being able to look at her with her own unspoken permission.
"Sounds like a good time, glad I can attend this meeting!" he again sounded pompous, but he couldn't help it. He was starting to itch at the chance to try and impress her. He didn't fear much, and this demon didn't sound like much of a threat to him. It's hard to burn a shadow, but many had tried. "Lead the way, and I will follow you anywhere." How romantic that sounded, he was making himself sick. He was defiantly getting soft, he didn't usually treat women this way. He was rough, and greedy. He lost his smile, and kept his eyes on the scene before him.

(Kagirinai is naturally very reluctant, she will probably only give him bits and pieces, she can open up more, but seems a bit out of character, can possibly have him start prying in of course his own manipulative way, what do you think?)
They broke through the thick trees, her slender arms reaching up and grabbing a branch ,not hesitating to slow down, using it to propel her through a thick bush of thorns, her large wings wrapping around her like a shield until she landed on a small trail made by animals. "In the end I might just end up landing myself into the bowls of hell. So careful what you say." she chuckled. Part of her felt, that this journey would probably end in her death, for they'd probably gather together in time to chase her down like a diseased beast. She had seen how the operated before, chasing down their quarry, injuring and exhausting them until they had no will left to fight. It was time someone knocked them down a few pegs. "I will not let hell grasp me with it's talons until I kill them all however." Kagirinai could feel him silently staring at her as she slowed her stride a bit, the trail had no trees so the setting sun set it's glow down on their path, Her skin seemed seemed to pale and fragile, in the moon, it probably had a much paler hue, and she probably would almost look like a ghost, or at least a being not of this world. "Since you know more about me than I do you, I have a question. You are unusual even for a demon, the way you phase, it's almost like a specter or shadow. While i teleport i have to have access to shadows, it seems like you can do it anywhere. What are you exactly?" she asked, turning her head slightly, looking back at Kage, her hair shimmering brilliantly in the setting sun. "If you don't mind me asking that is, I wont judge you or anything, I'm just curious." She spoke in her soft tone, though her face was completely void of emotion, like when they first spoke.
