I'd like to create a RP Thread taking place around the same era as InuYasha Canon, except the focus would surround a small rag tag team of people who each have their own mission, similar routes, they could be affected by the plague of demons and have heard rumors of an object that could grant its owner power. So they search for the Shikon Jewels only to realize it comes with a hefty price.
It's up for discussion, anyone is free to share and toss around ideas. Once we get a solid plot in order we can start yay! Let the chats begin!

Hrrm. I like it. It could be that the jewel shard(s) that they are after are hidden or guarded in some way by a powerful demon. My OCs Raven and Merissa would definitely be interested in an object that could make them either humans or full demons. (instead of half-demons) Of course who knows what could be guarding the shard. Perhaps an armies-worth of demons. Then you have the whole "who gets the power" debate.  |

and if an army is protecting the shard(s) then someone must be running them demons. Who would play the grand demon king (?) or queen that's hell bent on obtaining power. I'm pretty sure Naraku wasn't the only honcho on the playing field right?
Also I'd have to create new characters for this as the ones I have aren't suitable for this particular thread.

Nope. Everyone wanted the shards. What always puzzled me was how the news of the jewel shattering spread so quickly.

yeah that was lampshaded wasn't it? I think there should be another demon boss that's calling the shots in their mission to collect all the shards. hey might even have a run-in with Inuyasha's gang. lol should make an excellent fight scene.

Yeah. We can use both canon and OC characters. I actually improved on my idea before. Instead of using my main O.Cs I might use their daughter instead. Since at the end of my last bout with them I have them forever imprisoned in crystal as a result of having sealed away a very powerful demon. Her wish would be for the parents she never got to know to be free again. Perhaps whomever holds the shard wants to challenge Naraku for his power/domain. That way we can have a battle on three fronts. Our Group-Naraku-New Demon.

Excellent. As for my own O.C.'s I'm debating whether they'd be evil or nah. I find writing a villain especially for such an era intriguing as I've never written for the darker side. And I still have to work on a character or two lol.

I have a couple characters that I could contribute to the group, or to a follower of the evil main character. So if you want I could aid in that way, . Just let me know, always looking for new ideas and situations to be apart of! |
