Hello, everyone. I am a huge fan of Inuyasha and I wanted to find people who would be willing to roleplay with me. For this room, our own characters (OC's) and the original cast of Inuyasha are more than welcome. The character I am going to use is called Resonance, you can see her picture on my profile. Resonance is my OC, and I am eager to meet yours. This is not a one person rp, I want as many people to come and have fun roleplaying so don't be shy and invite your friends too if you wish. A standard intro would work just fine for introducing your character for OC's. If someone wishes to go the original cast way, try to stay as IC as possible. You don't have to be them word for word, but try to make Inuyasha act like Inuyasha...so on and so forth. The open characters are...and I will update this when these spots are filled so please don't be shy and if you know anyone from the anime that you wish to include...by all means, go for it. Just let me know.

An elegance emitted from the wolf demon as she almost strutted towards her location. A proud and powerful she-demon from the south, Resonance was not one that should be messed with nor taken lightly. As her name suggests, Resonance is a manipulator of sound and thus, she can use her power most anywhere she goes. Her elegant form was various shades of purple and the soundwaves she uses, if strong enough, show that color as well. Orphaned young, but the offspring of two demons...Resonance holds her parents' domain with a strong grip. Her teeth are razor sharp and as white as a diamond...her voice, however is silky and almost seductive. That's just how she talks. She does have a human form that stands at about 5'7" and wears a black shirt with a baggier set of purple pants on her lower half. She wears cloth boots that are held together by simple string, but seem to be rather sturdy. Her hair is a light purple, but kind of has an ombre effect from a regular purple to a more light purple. Her personality is pretty normal. Resonance is stubborn, carries herself with dignity and more than anything else...never gives in to anyone telling her how to do anything...if she can't figure it out for herself...she will find some way to do it. Though she has a hard exterior, Resonance is kind and will help anyone demon, human, whatever...however, she is too headstrong to want to really bend to the will of well...anyone but herself. She is a loner by nature but will travel with others if asked.

Sesshomaru strode quietly through the forest. Like a shadow in the night, he moved swiftly taking in everything he saw, all the sounds he heard, and everything he heard as he moved giving away little of his own presence in return. He had left Jaken to take care of Rin a few miles back. Lately he had been detecting the aura of a strong Yokai in the area. That and the smell of a wolf permeated the very area. That was also strange. No wolf demon he had ever seen or fought possessed that sort of strength. The very area seemed to vibrate with it's power. Not that it was of any threat to him. Sesshomaru was the most powerful demon in the Western Lands. A wolf would be no match for him at all. Still it was a curiosity he fully intended to explore. He ran his hand alongside the hilt of Tolkijin.
"Let us see who you really are." he whispered to the night air and took off once again towards the direction where the demon was.
(ooc: This is before the ending of InuYasha right? I don't know if everyone here saw it so I didn't want to add things that may inadvertently spoil)

Sniffing the air above her, Resnonance caught the scent of a demon and...and a human?! She lowered her ears and released a powerful snarl from her mouth. Her thoughts rang with the worry and almost, irritation at the thought of those pathetic and somewhat vulnerable, prey-like creatures. So, you think you can come into my turf? Stand aside small demon and human...this area is mine. Her thoughts rang as she stepped, the vibrations now distancing themselves from the male. She smirked, thinking about the taste of a small and almost...feeble demon begging for mercy between her jaws. The human, well...she would have to see, the human was not an adult, if anything it was just a pup. Resonance lowered her head, now closer to the two that now rested in the sun, her steps and even her breath silent as snow.
Rin ran around, arms out stretched as she usually did. She looked around, wondering where Lord Sesshomaru was. Shrugging, she laid down on the grass with a light chuckle. "Master Jakken...when is my Lord Sesshomaru coming back? I don't...I don't want him to get hurt."
Jakken flailed in the air, waving his staff around a bit silly-like. "You watch your tongue human! Lord Sesshomaru can handle himself far better than any mere human can. Let alone a girl at that." He turned his head, then began pacing around screaming "Lord Sesshomaru! Where are you? Are you okay master? Hello...Sesshomaru?"
Resonance concluded that she wanted to take out the green one first, her fangs almost forgetting the taste of demonic blood. Her mouth watered at the idea of his bones cracking beneath her cannines and even more pleasant, the sound of a fearful heartbeat pulsating with the waves powering her and thus...making her hungrier. She couldn't wait...but she had to be patient, if she jumped too soon...surely one of them would scream.

Sesshomaru stopped abruptly. The feeling was now behind him, back towards where he had left Rin and Jaken. In a flash he had changed course back towards them. Who was this demon, to think that it could target this Sesshomaru? To target him would be a very foolish mistake indeed. One that would soon be deeply regretted.
L-Lord Sesshomaru!" the toad stammered, his shaking getting even worse as he ran towards his master who had just appeared at the edge of the clearing. The poor little demon could barely hold on to his staff now. "What is amiss my Lord? You have returned earlier than expected!"
Rin gave a cry of excitement upon seeing the great demon and immediately ran towards him and hugged his leg. "Lord Sesshomaru!" she squealed. "Your back!"
Sesshomaru placed a hand gently on the girl's head and his eyes narrowed towards Jaken. "Do you sense it or has your babbling clouded your mind? There is a demon in the area. One that feels more powerful than should be for a place like this!"
Jaken flinched and dropped the staff in fear. "M-my apologies M'lord! I did not think that if there were any demons out there they would not be so bold as to bother-" Sesshomaru turned away ignoring his green minion. His eyes scanned the edge of the clearing. He could feel it, out there. Close enough now that whoever it was, was probably watching them. He almost snorted with laughter. Cowardice at it's best. A true demon would not need methods such as ambush to defeat his foes. He would be sure to teach that demon a lesson in the proper ways of combat.
"Jaken" Sesshomaru suddenly ordered. "Take Rin on Ah-Un and move away from here." Sesshomaru knew Rin would be upset at having to send her away, but while she and Jaken were around he would not be able to fight at his fullest. Sesshomaru hated liabilities and the less he had the faster this fight would be over.

Resonance let out an almost audible laugh, Wow, who does this demon think he is? A god? Some demon that would accept human aid, let alone babysit one of those vile human creatures. Unwilling to lose her easy meal...Jakken leave. Soon after, Resonance punched a tree in frustration, the air around them pulsating with powerful soundwaves that blew the small demon and the young human girl to the ground, Ah-Un stood strong, but was more shocked by this sudden vibration. Sesshomaru would feel the hit as punch in the stomach, unless he was unaffected by the power of sound.

Sesshomaru felt a sudden sharp pain ring through his entire body. It was if his very bones were being shaken by the force of this demons power, and he hated every bit of it. He hated the fact that he was even momentarily thrown off balance by it. He growled in anger, but now he knew exactly where the demon was.
"Jaken! Do not waste any more of my time and leave!" Sesshomaru was angry enough now that he wouldn't even give the poor toad time to recover. He planned on fighting whomever dared test his power. He turned to face the direction from where he heard the tree fall.
"Are you going to show yourself? Or would you prefer I find you?" He growled

A burst of powerful force shot out from where the female demon was. Shifting to her human form, she somersaulted out of the bushes, landing not too far away from Sesshomaru, but not too close. Purple hair cascaded past her shoulders as ice blue eyes bored into the eyes of her opponent. She smirked, then stood up. "Hahaha, you were looking for someone?" She smirked with a coy tone in her voice. She was almost...mocking him. "Surely it couldn't have been me." She circled him like a hungry buzzard. "What do you do here Lord of the West? Isn't your kingdom a little more towards the setting sun rather than the direction opposite of Polaris? Why do you enter my territory, and why bring a human and a small demon which could be so easy for me to gobble up with my fangs."

Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed as he stared at the demon who emerged from the bushes. She was certainly not what he was expecting. Her purple hair flowed like water past her shoulders and her eyes were cold like Sesshomaru's own, although hers were blue to his topaz. There was no doubt this was the demon who he had been stalking the past few hours. He could feel the power radiating from her body in waves.
"What do you do here Lord of the West? Isn't your kingdom a little more towards the setting sun rather than the direction opposite of Polaris? Why do you enter my territory, and why bring a human and a small demon which could be so easy for me to gobble up with my fangs."
Her voice gave seemed to give it all away. She was arrogant, and eager to jump to battle. Sesshomaru resisted a smirk.
"My business in this area is my own." Sesshomaru told her coldly. "Whom I chose to bring with me does not concern you either." He inclined his head slightly and ran a hand along the hilt of tolkijin. "If it's a fight you want, I would be happy to oblige you. Though if you want to come even close to my power you better give it everything you have. This Sesshomaru will not let such weak attacks as before fool him."
(ooc: I might have overplayed his arrogance just a bit here. Once the fight begins he's not going to find it as easy as he thought.)

"It would be sir..." She said, circling the male still with a lethal glint in her eyes. Her boots made no sound aside from the rustling of the disturbed leaves beneath her feet. "It would be if you had not stepped onto MY land...MY home...MY territory." She offered a cocky smile before jumping a couple of feet back like an astronaut on the moon. "My my...aren't we the arrogant ones." She felt her body vibrate as she loaded her attack. It didn't take much for her to release a scream that could shatter human eardrums easily, but she wanted to play with her food...thus she continued to prod at him. "Ah Sesshomaru, Lord of the West. Or should I say...could be...your father doomed your demon lineage by marrying that pathetic human woman...yet now you seem to travel with a human girl. Do you intend to eat her? Or mate her? For you do know that human life is nothing compared to the life of a demon. She might not even be able to handle pups...who knows?" She smirked, her attack now ready, she reeled her head back and then released a powerful "sonic scream". This took down most defenses and could crack metals and rock...he could avoid it...or rather avoid getting injured by it...but the surrounding area would be affected by this widespread and surprisingly powerful attack.

"You know nothing of my father!" Sesshomaru growled. He felt even more insulted by this demon girls accusations that he would keep Rin around for the same reasons that the lower demons of this land would. His reasons were his own, as he had told her. How dare she try act like she could easily tell his intentions. When Sesshomaru saw the girl whip her head back, he was just barely managed to dodge the main blow of her attack by jumping straight into the air. Trees around him simply exploded into nothingness, and even from where he was above it all he could feel the force of the attack.
it seems she is more powerful then this one calculated. Sesshomaru pondered. No that cannot be it. Her attacks may be powerful, but there is no power that does not come with its limitations. [/I} Sesshomaru landed roughly on the ground. His pride was injured to have be seen like this. Rarely he ever let such an attack phase him so, and yet it would be impossible for him to dodge another one of those attacks, and given the wide radius of damaged it had caused, he would have to think of a more effective plan. She had a pretty good offensive, but was her defense as perfect?
"Let's see how you fare in true combat!" Sesshomaru drew tolkijin and charged the girl slashing wide with tolkijin, creating a massive sphere of youkai to form and hurl itself from the blade towards her.

"Really now?" She smirked, pulling herself back as she readied her hands. "I do not fight with blades, I fight with fists...and the very sound you emit from you. One ability that you do not seem to possess my lord." She bowed mockingly, finding him interesting...and she felt her hunger grow. Seeing him charge towards her...her smile widened and then she thrusted her hands forward like she was shoving someone. Instead of her hands making contact with him a wave of powerful waves slammed onto Sesshomaru from the front, if this worked, he was pushed back against the tree. However, whether her hit succeeded or not...sound could still travel and then when she stomped the ground, the shrieking and unpleasant sound of nails against a chalkboard began to penetrate his ears.

Sesshomaru was forcibly knocked back and landed hard against the tree by the force of her next attack. The shriek seemed to tear his mind in two. Being an inu-youkai, sounds were more magnified a hundred fold in his ears making the pain a thousand times more unbearable. He was beginning to feel mildly impressed with her powers and allowed himself to smile, a rare occurrence that no one ever got to see. He sheathed Tolkijin. "You fight with your fists yet still rely on your power like any demon..." He raised his hand and tendrils of poison began to glow from his fingernails. "I am curious to know.... who are you?"

Walking as he spoke to his heart/scythe (Shisha no sōkō toshi) Akuma-ō no igaku was just loving the weather toady or at least he was until the strong scent of dog flooded him. The mangy beasts always smelt bad just not as bad as the wolf but at least they where reasonable to deal with most day's. His heart pulsing in his hands he agreed with the scythe that falling into the mix could be good for them both. It wasn't until he got near the two fighting demons did he realize their power that they held. Instant wanting to fight them seeing it his chance to get the fight that would push him past every limit he had. He was ready for a good fight even more so for one that his enemy use magic that way he could by able to go all out.

"I am inquiring that about you...though if my memory stands the way it does...you are the Lord of the Western Lands." She smirked, licking her lips, her violet locks blowing effortlessly in a gentle breeze. "If you must know..." She cocked a rather cocky grin, her sharp teeth showing a bit. "I am Resonance, I am the song of the Southern Mountain...this range is under my rule, hence why I didn't want...visitors." She ran her delicate fingers through her hair and then shrugged her slender shoulders. "I assume we shall cease the fighting, since you seem to be more civil now..." She chortled this last word.
