Personality: Iara is very shy but incredibly curious. Like all mermaids, she's also a bit vain. Not as vain as some of her sisters, but she still enjoys admiring how beautiful her tail and her hair are. She is incredibly scared of humans, yet fascinated by them at the same time. Her philosophy is to run away before anyone on land has a chance to see her, let alone try and talk to her or touch her.
Appearance: Iara has long, beautiful golden locks that cascade far down her back almost to where her tail starts. Her upper body is as beautiful as the fairest noblewomen of any land. There is a very intelligent spark in her sea-green eyes. She has beautiful pale skin that almost seems to glimmer with its own magic. Her tail is very long and the color of coral. In the sunlight, her tail glimmers with oranges, yellows, reds, and pinks.
Clothing/Armor: Iara wears no clothing, but occasionally will dawn two white shells to conceal her womanly figure. She has also been known to use starfish on occasion.
History: Iara grew up in a mer-kingdom far away from the shores of the Eastern Sea. As her teen years approached, she became curious about humans when she and her sisters watched a ship get torn to pieces in a fierce hurricane.
