Keera had been away on multiple journeys, rescuing people, protecting people, and being a sister to the one who needed her most - Kaori. Still, all of that needed to calm down, and soon. "Well, it looks like it's time to go back home again," Keera said, holding the baby Katsumaru in her arms. "Maybe you should all come back home with me for a while. Just for a couple weeks," Keera smiled. Her real motive? She couldn't stand not being close to her nephew. Katsumaru was the first baby she'd ever remembered holding, and it had only been recent.
Kaori was still in her evil form, but that didn't seem to matter anymore. She was still stuck to Tsumaru's side like glue with the baby. Perhaps because of her lack of power even now, or that she was so used to it, she didn't know how else to act. She was getting close to being her real self - the innocent, smiling young lady that everyone loved. This one was much more quick tempered, and had a very sharp tongue. Keera disliked it mostly because this meant that Kaori was becoming more like her.
"What do you think?"

Tsumaru gave a small attempt at a smile. In truth he hated leaving his lands. As ruler of the south he preferred to stay within his own territory. Retaining appearances throughout the land was important when it came to maintaining order. Ever since Kaori had come into his life, however things had changed. Such little vacations were pleasant to him, but he had much to do in his own home.
"well seeing as we won't be getting our son back today anyway, it would be nice for him to see his auntie's home." Tsumaru smiled. "As long as you don't plan on keeping him all to yourself" he added jokingly.'
Katsumaru's birth had changed the new Kaori. Tsumaru noticed she was showing more signs of her old self. The sweet, innocent, she loved to spend time in the meadows and woods that surrounded their home. Tsumaru privately doubted Kaori would have stayed with him if it were not for Katsu. He was the glue that bound them together. He silently wrapped his hand around hers and held it tightly.
"What do you think darling? Should we let your sister traumatize our poor child a little while longer."

Kaori smiled as Tsumaru spoke about Keera keeping Katsu all to herself. Keera had been quite attached to the little guy since the day of his birth. It was unlike Keera to make such a connection to anything, much less a person, however small. She was having a hard time with her own son, but Katsu seemed like the perfect thing for her to love. It hadn't taken much, and for that, Kaori was glad.
As Tsumaru took hold of her hand, Kaori smiled. This was turning out to be rather nice, despite the problems they'd had earlier in the year. Naraku had gone rather quiet these last few weeks. There was no complaining about that one, but she knew as well as everyone else that Naraku didn't go silent and unpresent because he was having a little down time. No, he was planning something spectacularly evil, something that would make Keera hate him even more, that would make everyone hate him even more. He never seemed to quit. One of these days, Keera was going to kill him, finally getting fed up.
"Traumatize?" Kaori laughed, and Keera glanced over at Tsumaru, almost glaring before looking back at the little baby in her arms, stroking his cheek. "We could," she added. Keera turned and looked at the two of them with slight anger and amusement in her eyes. "I don't think we'll get him back even if we asked nicely. She's gotten much too attached to him. We could go though, if you don't mind, my dear Tsumaru."
They had been back and forth, in and out of the Southern Lands, quite a bit until recently. It was lovely here, and while Keera needed to go back home, Kaori suddenly felt something was wrong. She something was suddenly out of place with the world, and it troubled her, but she hid it from them, like a lot of her negative feelings lately.

Tsumaru smiled in return. "Well he's going to have to get used to her....personality sooner or later. Perhaps it is best if we indoctrinate him to her as soon as possible."
He also looked over towards his sister in law. The way she was glaring at them, he knew fully well she could hear everyword that they were saying about her. The only reaso that she was not currently not tearing into them about it -besides the fact her nephew was with them- was due to her enormous amount of paitence that she had gained recently.
"We'll if we're going to reach the western ocean soon, we should get a move on already. Naraku may not be planning anything but that doesnt mean any other demons might be about, despite the amount of power we're carrying with us now It would be best if we keep Katsu safe until he can learn to protect himself."

"That's the point of being parents, Tsumaru," Keera spoke with a smirk. "And the point of having an Aunt like myself. No one can hurt him with myself or the two of you around him. That's just how it is." Not only was Keera taking a lot of care and responsibility to this boy, but to the whole family in general. She was there when not at her own castle, and more than not, she was with Kaori and Tsumaru. She did, however, make sure not to overstay her welcome.
"Well, let's get moving then. No need to pack for Katsumaru, either. I have plenty of things there for him," Keera said with a smile down at the little boy in his arms. "Ready?" she asked. Kaori smiled and shook her head, rolling her eyes. "Well?"
"Yes yes, Keera. We're coming," Kaori said, having to raise her voice because Keera was already walking out the doors of the Great Hall. "So impatient. She's got more patients for people, but less for time. Also," she said, lowering her voice. "I felt something earlier. Not sure it was a good feeling, either. I don't know what it was."
