It's here, its out and since its almost been a week since its release I thought Id make a thread on it.
Thats right folks as of November 20th The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has officially hit the shelves. Here's were you can post your opinion on it.
As of now I am still early in the game so Im pretty 50/50 at the moment. Sometimes I feel that the wii+ controls can be a little difficult to master, while at other times I think the challanges are rather easy.
Combat however has been improved immensely since the previous Zeda games. This time even the most minor of enemies will block your attack and even fight you back. This made me feel as if i were actually fighting them rather than spamming buttons.
The world however seems disconnected to me. Not just the ground parts but even the sky seems segmented. Both when mounting and dismounting your wingloft you have to go through the dreaded loading screen which makes things have no fluid feel to it.
Fi so far has done nothing but urk me. She tends to tell you what you need to do with subtle reminders that when breathing inhaling is best to come before exhaling. Im hoping she isnt as "Navi-ish" as I get further into the game.
Other than that I like it so far. WIth as little play time as i get every week Im hoping to make some amount of progress in the comming days. I'll let you all know whats going on and where I am as I make it through.
But hey, Let me know what you guys think!

Still haven't beaten it yet. :/ I'm working on it.
Sadly, this is not turning out to be a "legendary" Zelda game, as I had hoped it would be. They seem to do this thing with big system games where one Zelda game will be AWESOME and then the next one is a bit of a let down. Ocarina of Time? Amazing. Majora's Mask? I love the game so much, but it's a very short game. Doesn't take me nearly as long to play through as OoT. Still good though. Then what... We get Wind Waker. What were they thinking? "Hey, let's flood Hyrule and make Link 2 feet tall and have a watermelon for a head!"
But THEN we got Twilight Princess. Omfg. AMAZING. So much to that game that's just... oh man. I love it. It's a masterpiece.
And then we get Skyward Sword. It's great... at first.
Fi got on my nerves so fast it wasn't even funny. She was really cool for like... 5 minutes. An ice-skating computerized spirit that lives in the Master Sword? ... Right. Her voice is super annoying, and I hate how she rephrases every piece of information Link gathers three times over just in case you totally missed the fact that you should maybe think about saving Zelda. She's also really annoying when you're in the middle of a boss fight and get down in health and she flashes to "tell you something important" which turns into "Master Link, your hearts have diminished. Please restore them at the earliest time convenient to you." I also hate how when I ask her about an enemy she'll be like "Target: Big Giant Flaming Boss. A 2,000 year old reptile that has fallen into lava. It is improbable that your sword will damage its scales. Your battle skills thus far prove to be incredibly weak against him. No further information available at this time, but if I ever get around to learning anything else, I will flash to tell you your hearts are low."
GEE THANKS FOR THE HELP YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK >[
Link seems like he's not really... super hero material, either. I dunno. He's deffly turning more hero-like as the game progresses, but really, getting bullied and having Zelda come to save him? When he was bullied in Ocarina of Time, at least he stood up for himself and went and found a sword and shield to show Mido up. Saria didn't come running to his rescue.
The stupid annoying wii-mote on the side that tells you what every single button does is super annoying, too. Thank goodness for Pro Mode, I guess? Wish there was a "I'm not a 6 year old playing my first video game and don't need Fi to tell me what to do every step of the way" mode.
Hopefully the end of the game will be worth it. I do kind of like the history of Hyrule I see going on here and there, though. It's interesting.
Oh, one more thing.
WHERE ARE THE ZORA?!?!?!?!?!?!

This seems to be the problem with all nintendo games as of late. I cant really figure out what audience they are targeting anymore. Games these days just seemingly take no skill to beat them. Still being the nostalic person that i am it wouldnt be fair me to outright trash the game. It had its epic moments

You know guys, i haven't played it or anything but it sounds... kinda lame... lol.
No, honestly, Nintendo is kinda lacking lately for sure. Though the New Super Mario Bros. is kinda.. difficult for me. Lol. I'm not really a gaming person either though, so that probably explains why.
And LOL Remus, the reason they have wrist bands on the remotes is so that DOESN'T happen. Kick your bed or a table or something instead. It's more satisfying, believe me.

REMUS WHAT WERE YOU IMPRESSED ABOUT HUH? Since I beat the game finally and all that.
Keera, I will admit, this isn't my favorite Zelda. It's okay. More like so-so. I like parts of it. Elements of it are nifty. Some parts of the story are cute. Others, I'm not quite sure what they were thinking.
I completely agree that Nintendo is lacking. They have become more kid friendly, and by that I mean, I feel like they've just given up trying to make games that people over the age of 12 can enjoy as much as other games. They hardly have any RPGs out. T____T Most of the stuff on the Wii seems to be DANCE AND SING TO THESE SONGS! or WORK OUT AND LOSE WEIGHT! or OMG ZUMBA YAY! or LET'S LEARN OUR COLORS BY LISTENING TO DORA THE EXPLORER YAY!

This installment left quite a bit of questions unanswered. Also, I cannot get Ghirahim's theme out of my head....
