My name is Lucas Nasaki, actually, I have two last names, Nasaki, and Miller. You see, my father's Japanese and my mother's American. My mother moved out to Japan when she was offered a job out here, that's where she met my father and the rest is history. I attend High School and if all goes well, I'll be graduating next year. I hope. Anyway, you know how people say the solution to your problems doesn't just fall out of the sky? Well, I respectfully disagree. Before you get completly lost, let's start over from the beginning.....
Lucas groaned as he walked down the school halls looking at his latest test. "A 72? Dad's gonna hit the roof when he sees this," Lucas said out loud. He ran into someone and fell backwards. "Oh, sorry, I wasn't paying attention," he said as he got to his feet. "You okay?" he asked the person he had just bumped into.

As it turned out, Lucas had bumped into a girl and her posé. The girl he bumped into had long, softly curling hair down nearly to her knees, with two shorter pieces in the front to frame her face. She had electric blue eyes that went perfect with her chocolate hair. Some of the girls sniggered as got up, other looked disapprovingly. When the girl was pushed up from her friend, she turned around to face him and looked him over.
"Obviously you weren't, people don't just bump into Rekka because they were paying attention," one of the girls snapped and the girl named Rekka smiled, shaking her head.
"It's no problem," she said picking up the book she'd been holding before the incident. She hid the cover to her chest, and watched Lucas with cat-like precision, but never turned from him to talk to her friends, instead waiting for him to talk again.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'll be more careful next time," Lucas said getting up. "So your name is Rekka? My name is Lucas," Lucas introduced himself.
Lightyears away, on the planet Proxima Centuari, the planet was littered with lights and all sorts of activity. "The night lights are so beautiful, wouldn't you agree, your Highness?" a maid asked a catgirl leaning on the balcony in front of her. "I couldn't agree more," she said. There was a knock at her door. "Enter," she said. The door slid open and a guard entered. "Freya, your Highness? Your mother wishes to see you," the guard said.

"Hi," Rekka said with a raised eyebrow. "Nice bumping into you. Maybe I'll see you around," she added after a moment's pause. Of course she would see him again, this school was big, but it wasn't -that- big. The girls around her huffed and stuck their noses up to him.
"You don't have to be so nice to him you know. He's just a boy, and he doesn't look like should even get an introduction from you," a girl snapped, her arms folding across her chest. Rekka seemed to pay her no mind. "Rekka. Snap to it, you were telling us about your father's research. You know, what he does and expects you to follow him into."
"It's just studying stars, Inya. Not that impressive."

"I...I didn't do it on purpose," Lucas said, Rekka's posse not helping with his feeling of impending doom. "Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've really got to get back home," Lucas said as he walked away while trying to hide his latest embarassing grade. The whole time he couldn't shake the feeling that he knew her name from somewhere...
Freya left her room and entered the throne room. "Mother? You wanted to see me?" she called out.
"Do I need a reason to see my daughter before her wedding?" a regally dressed woman in the corner said.
"Oh, mother there you are," Freya said. "You wanted to see me about something?" she asked.
Freya's mother walked over to the window. "The Oracle came by today," she said.
"Oh, what did he tell you, a fortune about my future with Prince Garrus?" Freya asked jokingly. Freya's mother normally would laugh with her, but not this time.
"No," she said as she shook her head. "He showed me a most troublesome vision," she said and turned her head to face her daughter. "His vision was that Naga will return," Freya's mother said grimly. Upon hearing the name, the color almost completely drained from Freya's face.
"N-Naga? But that's impossible! She's imprisioned on Ageis-7!" Freya said frantically. Freya sent for a messenger. "I want you to take the next shuttle out to the Ageis-7 asteroid," Freya intructed upon the messenger's arrival. "Tell the prison to double their weapons, double their guard, double everything! Triple or quadruple it if they have to! Naga does NOT leave that prison!" Freya finished.
"Yes, your Highness," the messenger said and left.

"Alright," Rekka said with a nod. She hoped he would be around again, maybe even walk into her by accident again. She wouldn't mind if he even knocked her down. "Of course you didn't mean to," she glanced a fervent, angry glance back to her friends who rolled their eyes at her and Lucas. "You weren't paying attention, and neither was I."
"Don't even act like it was your fault Rekka. Seriously. Pity is for losers."
"Do you know him?" Rekka asked, annoyance now evident in her voice. "Who he is? What he does? ...Why he was in a hurry? No, so shut up." She looked at Lucas, like she wanted to ask him something, but refrained from it at the last possible second. Instead, she smiled.

Lucas had just reached the school gates when he heard someone call his name. He turned around to see his friend, Shogo Akuji approaching him. "Oh, hey. What's up, Shogo?" Lucas asked as Shogo stopped in front of him.
"Not much, I was just wondering if you wanna hang out. I've got nothing else to do today," Shogo offered. Of course, Lucas would accept, anything to get a repreive for his imminent doom waiting for him back home.
Three days later in Proxima Centuari time, the messenger arrived on Ageis-7. The guard captain was not pleased with the message. "Increase security detail, extra precautions. Your prison may not be adequate?!" he roared, after he finished reading the message. "You doubt the security of Ageis-7?!" the guard captain asked.
"No, I'm just the messenger, I don't. Princess Freya does, though," the messenger said timidly.
"Well then let me put you mind at ease. Follow me," The guard captain ordered as he led the messenger down a series of corridors, each with a high-security checkpoints as they reached each level. "As you can see, Ageis-7 is top-notch in terms of security. A hundred levels, two-hundred guards, one prisoner, no way out," the guard captain said, showing the messenger around.
"Oh, yes, it's very impressive," the messenger said. "Except that one prisoner happens to be Naga...." the messenger muttered nervously in a sing-song tone.

((the whole prisoner thing kinda makes me think of Kung Fu Panda. Is it going to be the messenger that screws it all up? lol and I don't really know where you're going with this))
"So tell us more," one of the girls said. "About his newest discovery."
"Well," Rebecca sighed, already bored with the topic. "He has figured out with wonderful new equipment that Pluto is indeed a planet. He's going to bring it up in the conference he's gone to for the weekend. I'm stuck here alone for the weekend because he said my karate lessons are more important than going to his conference."
"Well, being able to defend yourself is a good thing. He's just looking out for you, Rebecca."
"Yeah I know. I just wish he'd stop leaving me alone on weekends. Come on, let's go," she replied and started walking. The others followed her like lost puppies, even though they were the ones that were stuck up and two-faced. Rebecca didn't look like she really belonged to the group, or to any other group. She seemed to be more of the loner type, but had the friends she did so she wouldn't be made fun of for being the way she was. She secretly liked being home alone, just not all the time for more than a day at a time. It always made her nervous and lock every door and window there was out of pure paranoia.
