Name: Takumi
Alias/Nicknames: Taku
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 13 1/2
Personality: He can be a cocky little brat, and he has the adorable fangs to go along with it, but he’s competent and practical enough to be worthy of his arrogance most of the time.
Appearance: He’s a five foot, five, shaggy brown hair, brown eyes, boy.
Clothing/Armor: His normal wear consists of sandals, dark blue pants, a sleeveless dark blue gi, and black wrist bands. He will sometimes be wearing light armor when in battle.
History: Orphaned as a baby, Taku had been left at the gates of a village of Monks. By the age of six it had already been known that Taku was the type of kid who was just attracted to trouble. Whether it be with snooping in places he shouldn’t, causing disasters during chores, or even found being the mastermind behind a swindle or two, Taku was just that type of kid. But it was with one passing visitor to discover that Taku may be even more.
His name was Mamoru, an ex-demon slayer. He discovered that Taku had certain skills and figured the kid would make a better slayer than a monk. So he took Taku in as his student and brought him to stay with him in his village. He saw great talent in Taku and knew Taku would be capable of great things. What those great things were, he was unsure of. That is, until Taku ran across an old relic Mamoru and a few other villagers obtained from a slain village many years prior.
The relic was that of a weapon, it looked to be of long halberd. But it was badly tarnished and rusted it seemed. But for a weapon in such bad shape, it was said to be of a special kind, a weapon forged by magic or something of the sort. It was known as the Kougan Anki. In it’s delicate condition, it seemed useless to even restore. So Mamoru stored it away, and soon it was forgotten of by all. That is until Taku discovered the relic, and managed to break it when he decided to play with it. Worried what Mamoru would do to him if he found out, Taku panicked and began trying to fix it. Amazingly, he discovered it was like a puzzle. It was then that Mamoru was attracted by a golden light. When he walked in, he found Taku holding the halberd, which looked brand new.
Seeing as Taku was the only one to ever figure out the secret of the Anki, Mamoru gave the weapon to Taku. As time grew on, Taku would unlock many other mysteries of the weapon. He discovered the weapon was, indeed, a puzzle, a puzzle that could take on other shapes. The first was the halberd. The second was a scythe on a long chain. The third was a pair of large scissors. The fourth was a boomerang. And the fifth was a bow and arrow. By the time Taku was eleven he had perfected the weapons transformations from one to another and perfected his techniques as a demon slayer.
Taku wanted more though, and by the following year he had decided to leave the village, much to Mamoru’s dismay, and search for his real parents. Since that day Taku hasn’t looked back. He travels from one village to another, earning money by either swindling people in a gambling scam, or slaying demons for their safety. He hopes one day to find his parents and finally find the missing pieces to his own puzzle.
Likes: Winning
Dislikes: Losing
Allies: Anyone he befriends
Enemies: Anyone who wants to harm him.
Occupation: Demon Slayer/Swindler
Weapons:
- Demon Repellant: A smoke bomb so strong it will ward off most demons.
- The Kougan Anki: A special weapon that can change into five different ones and an “unknown” sixth one.
- Kiba: It’s long and shaped like a halberd. It’s good for straight line attacks Taku can swing and cut things with ease.
- Ryu: It’s a scythe on a long chain. Produces all sorts of streamline and bent attacks. It is powerful in a sense that it can attack people from behind and/or bind the person with it.
- Kyoku: Looks like a giant pair of hedge clippers. It’s just that and can cut through, or at least damage, any other weapon or pretty much anything.
- Mikazuki: A giant boomerang. When thrown it will always return back to Taku. Good for helping block attacks.
- An: A bow and arrow. The arrow is purified so that can break some demon barriers.
- Mu: An undiscovered sixth form. The final form of the Anki, it divides into it’s several pieces and attack the enemy like shards.
Abilities:
- Weapon Change: Taku is able to change his weapon into one of it's other forms in the blink of an eye. It's as if the weapons transforms itself.
- Focused Eye: Taku takes a few seconds to focus his sight/mind/spirit on the opponent. Once locked, he's able to strike and hardly ever misses.
- Focused Speed: Taku will focus on his speed which will increase and double for a matter of minutes.
- Retrieval: Should Taku be separated from his weapon, it will always return.
- Final Kougan Anki Assult: Taku will be granted a few seconds of great speed. First with Kiba, he slashes the opponent... then it transforms into Ryu and he spins, slashing the opponent once more... then it transforms into Kyoko, stabs opponent, opens with a spin, pulls out... then it transforms into Mikazuki and he spins throwing it at the opponent, it comes back around... then it transforms into An... one shot... opponent is done for. All happening within a matter of a five seconds.
- Sixth Form: Mu: The Kougan Anki will divide into several pieces and shoot at the opponent like shards.
