Personality: Elani may seem cold, silent and distant with strangers, but when she gets to know others her colors show. People may not enjoy her company, but her talent and skills make up for personality. She seldom smiles, letting her blade tell the story. She has gone through a lot in her life, and tends to get emotional when being around old friends.
Friends and family seem to know Elani as an outspoken girl, who is very dedicated to morals and justice. When her rigid exterior is unfolded, Elani will tend to others' needs before hers.
Appearance: With a soft and light complexion, green-gray eyes, and chestnut shoulder-length hair, Elani is quite the looker. She usually ties her hair up in a trademark way--a low, or side ponytail with the bangs drooping down on the right side. Elani has long, slender legs on a small body. Sometimes being short has its perks!
Clothing/Armor: Elani will usually be wearing a black sleeveless turtleneck shirt, covered by a red Japanese-style shirt, black shorts, and a pink jacket. Elani tends to get chilly at times and wears two layers of socks--loose, thick white socks over stretchy, thin black ones. Tied up by long pieces of string, Elani's preferred footwear are simple sandals.
Elani doesn't really wear armor, but usually she bandages her chest and shoulders just in case.
History: Elani has experienced a lot through her life. When she spent her time around InuYasha's group, she met several people who she enjoyed spending time with. Elani left home when her father gave her the Family sword to bring honor to the Takira's. One day, she met a man named Spike and fell in love. They settled down and lived in a nice house on a mountain. However, Spike was always busy with fighting and rarely came home. She received a wing from Spike when they got married, and rarely shows it to the public.
A few months after their marriage, Spike and Elani had a child together. Five months pregnant, Spike came back to the house and said one last goodbye to Elani--she wasn't sure what would happen to him, or where he had gone, but she knew that her lover wouldn't be able to be there when the child was born. While she was out gathering supplies, Elani saw two men. These men were amateur thieves, but managed to kill her baby. Without her family's sword, a baby, or her husband, Elani had to flee. In her despair and anger, she had managed to wound one of the men, but could not do much after.
Returning to the house, she blamed herself for not bringing the family sword with her. Grabbing it, along with a picture of her and Spike, Elani left the house and traveled on her own. After that, Elani had become distant with strangers and more vicious with her blade.

Weapons: Family sword--Arikatsu, a nodachi with an impressive attack range and delivers impressive damage. However, her blade may sometimes be too slow catch enemies while using her abilities.
Other than using her blade, Elani will sheath her blade and use some close-combat attacks.
Abilities: Has experience with kendo and is learning the full capacity of her wing.
Petal Attack: Elani has several special techniques that emits energy in the imagery of flower petals.
Sense: Elani can sense the presence of others.
