Personality/History

Kirara is Sango's faithful, Cat Demon companion whom she received from her Father when she was a child. Kirara usually appears in the form of a small feline no larger than a kitten with two tails. When necessary, she can transform into full demon with larger saber-teeth, flames around her feet and tail, and at a size large enough to carry 2-3 humans on her back. In her full demon form, Kirara is capable of flying, an ability InuYasha's group find useful for transporting Sango, Miroku, and Shippo when InuYasha is running quickly or jumping to greater heights than they would normally be able to keep up with. For most of the series, Kirara stays primarily with Sango and aids InuYasha's group in battles.

Kirara's personality varies on which form she's in, for example in her small form she acts like a normal ordinary kitten, curious and playful and when she's agitated or when there is a enemy nearby she often goes into a defensive position and starts hissing which in most cases causes her to transform into her larger form. In her large form her personality takes on a more protective side as she's always making sure Sango and the others are safe from harm even at the cost of her own safety. Usually she will either fight along side her friends, by herself, and/or allow one of her friends to ride on her while attacking.

Kirara has a unique ability to transform into a larger version of herself that she uses whenever she needs to protect herself or others. A small description of what usually happens is, she becomes engulfed in red-orange flames and when it clears she's revealed to be in her larger form.

Flight

In her larger form, Kirara has the ability to fly which is very useful to the team when they need to get to their destinations in a quick fashion.

Fangs

Not really a traditional weapon, but Kirara's primary form of attack is usually the use of her large fangs to attack her enemies.
