Personality/History

Sango is a Demon Slayer who hails from a village of professional demon slayers. Sango wields the Hiraikotsu, a massive boomerang made of purified demon bones, along with a broad repertoire of tools and tricks, which are used for fighting demons. She is constantly seen with her companion Kirara, a demon cat. Sango's family was killed and her entire village destroyed by Naraku's demons so Naraku could steal their Shikon Jewel shards. He then blames InuYasha and manipulates Sango into trying to kill him. When the ploy failed, Naraku uses a shard of the Shikon Jewel to revive and control Sango's little brother Kohaku, forcing him to fight InuYasha and company, and using him as a means by which to manipulate Sango. She seeks vengeance against Naraku, but her primary goal is to rescue Kohaku from Naraku's influence and save his life. Sango is often the victim of Miroku's lecherous tendencies, and proceeds to slap him for it.

Weapons

Hiraikotsu

Sango's primary and signature weapon of choice. The Hiraikotsu or Bone Boomerang is made from purified bones of several demons which is powerful enough to defeat most demons or damage them at most. Sango's use of it varies on the situation, she mainly uses it for it's primary use, literally as a boomerang. Other times she uses it as a melee weapon and if the time calls for it she uses it as a weapon for defense purposes as it's large and strong enough to protect her against most attacks.

Katana

Sango's secondary weapon, she uses it mainly when her Hiraikotsu is out of reach or as a secondary form of defense.

Concealed Blade

Using it as kind of last line of defense, Sango keeps a blade concealed on her left arm in the inside of her Demon Slayer uniform.

Face Mask

Not really a weapon per say, however Sango uses a mask that covers over her mouth that protects her from toxic gases.

Kirara

Also not a 'traditional' weapon. When fighting, Kirara usually joins in to attack with or defend her Master or rather more appropriately, her friend, Sango.
