"Yes. Mermaids have the ability to come on land during the day-"

Mizale glanced back a little surprised at the shout. It was the mermaid she'd see dive in the water from this demon killer guy. As she took in what the mermaid was saying, she made a surprised "oh" face, and shook her head. "No, it's okay. We're just going to bring her up on to the shore to dry her off, so I can see if she's all right. There's nothing to worry about. Is there?" she asked suddenly, a slight glare when she turned, looking up at Castiel. "You'll leave her alone, unless she speaks to you."

Castiel returned his knife to the sheath attatched to his belt. He crossed his arms solemly and stared at Mizale. "Very well, if you say she will cause no harm to me or any other human, then I will not attack her.' He tilted his head very slightly.

"What remains to be seen however is that if she was attacked was it by her own kind or something else that is dwelling beneath the surface." His gaze lingered on Mizales eyes for a moment before going back towards Mini lying between them. "Is there anying else in the area that would choose to attack these....mermaids?"

"Nothing that could do much damage. Mermaids stay hidden from land dwellers, mostly. However, under the water they can be most vicious if they are threatened. They're not naturally offensive," Mizale said. "Note that I am not a mermaid, or a land dweller, I live in the water as well so I would know." And my parents are going to kill me for coming up here, she thought. "I also don't think that wounds like these woulc come from something under the water, and I've never seen a mermaid like her in these parts. In this area they tend to have much tamer coloured hair, that is to say, not pink."
